Job Description
AtkinsRéalis is a leading design, engineering, and project management consultancy seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Building Design Practice in Birmingham. The role involves working on national delivery teams, collaborating with international colleagues, and developing expertise in commercial, residential, education, and transportation sectors.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering/Electrical Engineering or related subjects
- Chartered Engineer with CIBSE or IET or working towards Chartership
- Good level of computer literacy in software tools including Amtech/Predesign, Dialux/Relux, NBS, and Microsoft packages
- Familiarity with energy reduction methods and approaches to decarbonizing new and existing buildings
- Experience working in a design consultancy or contractor design environment
- Detailed knowledge of technical standards
- Good report writing skills and experience making presentations to clients
