We are seeking a Senior Engineer - Protection & Control to lead and work on various Power Substation and P&C Engineering projects. The role involves developing efficient and reliable electrical design packages for medium and high voltage substations, coordinating design activities, and providing construction support. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, a Professional Engineer (PE) registration, and at least 10 years' experience in P&C electrical design.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) registration (or eligible for registration).
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in P&C electrical design.
- Prior utility or utility consulting experience is preferred.
- Experience with IEC61850/Goose Messaging is a plus.
- Experience with relay settings is a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (MicroStation experience is a plus).
- Strong client focus.
- Ability to perform independently and in a team environment and provide project ownership.
- Knowledge of modern power systems, power system protection and transmission & distribution system.
- A high level of interpersonal communication skills, including a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills.
