Senior Mechanical Engineer, Analysis

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Analysis who specializes in Mechanical Design Analysis, providing technical and operational leadership, having superior client relations skills and a proven ability to deliver major assignments.

Requirements

• Lead a team to complete the design analysis of CANDU reactor components, systems and structures including Mechanical equipment.
• Engineering calculations to support design nuclear pressure boundary components.
• Preparation of formal technical reports.
• Review of design documents, calculations, and analysis reports.
• Prepare engineering budgets and support proposal preparation.
• Execute engineering activities within budget and schedule.
• Provide accurate reporting of engineering work to technical and project managers.
• Provide prompt response and engineering resolutions on any critical engineering related matters.
• Perform engineering work following AtkinsRéalis/Candu Energy Quality Assurance programs, and applicable codes, standards, and regulation requirements.
• Coordinate and interface with client, suppliers, stakeholders and other design disciplines or department to execute assigned engineering work.
