Senior / Principal Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior / Principal Geotechnical Engineer to provide technical and operational leadership in our Geotechnical Practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in geotechnical engineering, with a strong focus on major and alternative project delivery.

Requirements

• P.Eng. (Ontario) with 15+ years of geotechnical engineering experience (20+ an asset)
• Graduate degree (M.Sc. or higher) in Geotechnical Engineering (civil engineering with a geotechnical focus)
• Proven geotechnical design expertise across deep/shallow foundations, retaining walls, slopes/embankments, tunnels/excavations, and ground improvement
• Advanced proficiency with geotechnical numerical modelling (soil and rock mechanics, soil-structure interaction) and use of modern analysis software
• Strong project management capability (planning, resourcing, budgeting, risk management) and effective client liaison in a fast-moving consultancy environment
