Track Engineering Technical Lead - Rail & Transit

We are seeking a Track Engineering Technical Lead - Rail & Transit to join our team in New York, NY. This role involves providing leadership and technical oversight for trackwork construction across complex rail and transit programs, ensuring compliance with operational, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Railway Engineering, or closely related field; M.S. preferred.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in track engineering and construction, including delivery leadership for new build, rehabilitation, or capital renewal programs.
• Demonstrated success managing field execution, integration, and acceptance of special trackwork and mainline geometry under operational constraints.
• Experience with construction submittals/RFIs, QC/QA programs, and project controls on rail/transit projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in train control, signaling, and related safety-critical systems.
• P.E. license is desired.
• Familiarity with requirements management, asset configuration, and PMIS platforms (e.g., e-Builder, SharePoint).
• Strong technical writing and communications skills, proven through technical presentations, technical papers, and/or participation in technical committees.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., AREMA, IEEE, FRA, FTA) and safety certification processes.
