Water Resources Engineer

AtkinsRealis is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to support water resources studies, modeling, and design tasks on various projects, including master drainage plans, floodplain mapping, and stormwater retrofit flood studies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering, registration as an Engineering Intern (EIT) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), and minimum 3 years of relevant experience in water resources engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering from an accredited university
• Registration as an Engineering Intern (EIT) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), or eligibility to register in Canada
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in water resources engineering
• Solid understanding of water resource engineering principles, hydrology, and hydraulics
• Familiarity with hydraulic/hydrologic modeling tools such as PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, Global Mapper, AutoCAD, and/or Civil 3D
• Basic experience in data analysis, visualization of modeling results, and effective communication of technical findings
