Staff Software Engineer - Container Platform

Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential and people too. We are hiring a Staff Software Engineer for our Container Platform team.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 8+ years industry experience designing, building, and supporting large scale systems in production
• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Proficient in at least one modern programming language, for example Go, Java, Rust, or C++
• Hands-on experience in platform engineering or cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; proven ability to build alignment across teams
• Ownership mindset, self-direction, and a passion for solving complex problems
• Tech lead experience
• Experience with containers and container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes
• Strong distributed troubleshooting and incident resolution skills
