Job Description
The position of Linux Systems Engineer II involves analyzing and resolving complex server problems, configuring operating systems, and leading the development of system requirements and design documents. This role requires strong technical expertise in Linux and related technologies, and collaboration with both government and industry stakeholders. Responsibilities include system requirements definition, implementation, and verification, as well as ensuring system integrity and compliance.
Requirements
- TS/SCI with current Full Scope Polygraph
- IAT Level I
- 14 years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and resolving complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
