Accounts Payable Clerk

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing and recording vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and maintaining organized financial records. This role supports the accounting department by verifying transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associates degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience on Accounts Payable team in a corporate environment with multiple subsidiaries
• Ability to use enterprise-level financial record-keeping software systems (Great Plains & NetSuite)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to complete a high volume of work within deadlines
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of basic accounting concepts
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office programs with high degree of proficiency in Excel
• Internal customer service minded attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple mediums
