Job Description
Responds to fire alarms and emergency calls, operates fire vehicles and equipment, performs firefighting duties, and provides paramedic care in emergency medical situations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid California Driver's License
- Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician I
- C.S.F.M. Driver/Operator 1A/1B Hazmat FRO C.S.F.M. FFI and FF II
- Current C-Pat or Biddle
- Highly desired: truck academy rescue systems 1 & 2, trench rescue, LARRO, swift water technician, confined space rescue
- Current and valid Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) certificate
- Current and valid American Heart Association (AHA) certifications (BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS)
