Product Design Lead

Socket is seeking a Product Design Lead to bring coherence, clarity, and vision to the platform as a whole. The role requires a deep understanding of design for developers and technical audiences, with a focus on systems thinking and clarity. The successful candidate will have a high bar for product design and experience working directly with engineering and product leadership. The company is passionate about craft, urgency, and customer obsession.

Requirements

• Shipped products at a high bar and understand the difference between surface-level polish and systems-level clarity
• Deep experience designing for developers or technical audiences
• Portfolio that demonstrates systems thinking
• Comfort working directly with engineering and product leadership
• Experience designing security or infrastructure tools is a plus
