Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years in conference services, catering, hospitality, or related environments
- 5–7 years of supervisory or management experience, including conference management, staff leadership, and operational oversight
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Strong client relationship management and service excellence skills
- Financial acumen, including budget management and labor oversight
- Proficiency in event management and reporting software; familiarity with labor management systems
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)
- Commitment to health and safety
- Ability to work rotating shifts when required including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to travel approximately 10-15% across Canada to support multiple sites and client events
