Inventory Control Manager

SoftBank Robotics America, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Manager with advanced AI expertise or the skills to leverage generative AI in practical applications to join a fast-growing team shaping the future of workforce automation. The ideal candidate is passionate about processes, excellent communication, and keen on process improvements and AI tool utilization.

Requirements

• Demand planning using historical data and sales forecasts to ensure timely ordering and stocking
• General inventory control, including inventory alignment between warehouses, supply coordination, stock transfers, production tasks
• Inventory health management - turnover analysis, ABC analysis, cycle counting, aging/expiration, and twice-yearly physical inventory
• Process documentation, compliance, improvement, and monitoring to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Reporting and analysis of data from demand planning software, ERP/WMS systems, and other platforms
• Coordination with third-party warehouse staff to support scaling and improve internal efficiencies
• Management of inventory and inventory processes at third party repair centers
• Root cause analysis (5 Whys / 8D / other methodology) to close gaps and continuously improve when issues are identified
• Physically receive, count, and stock spare parts and finished goods in the Boston warehouse
