Embedded Software Engineer - Alabama - onsite

SEI is seeking an embedded software engineer to perform embedded software systems analysis and develop strategic partnerships with customers in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities include providing embedded software engineering support, analyzing software architecture, and applying modern software development techniques.

Requirements

• BS with 8 years' experience, MS with 5 years' experience, or PhD with 2 years' experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Flexible to travel to other SEI offices and sponsor sites
• Understanding of the DoW Systems Engineering lifecycle and digital engineering capabilities
• Familiarity with embedded software and/or firmware safety standards
• Proficiency in software development languages (C, C++, Ada, VHDL, Verilog)
• Experience with developing or analyzing embedded software built using modern Real Time Operating Systems like VxWorks
