Job Description
Solutions Engineer, Capital Markets/FSI position at Solace in London, UK. Responsibilities include owning technical relationships with customers and prospects, driving and owning Proof of Concepts, and assisting the team in furthering technical relationships within customer accounts and prospects.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree, ideally in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; Master’s in science, Business or Engineering an asset
- 5+ years experience in technology/presales/technical strategy consulting roles in the financial services/capital markets industry
- Domain knowledge of one or more verticals within the financial services/capital markets industry
- Experience as an Engineering Leader in a technology firm
- Ability to articulate technical concepts and solutions to various audiences
- Solid presentation and white-boarding skills
- Messaging Middleware/Integration knowledge
- Enterprise Integration Patterns and Solution architecture experience
- Application Integration with Java, JavaScript, ESB/API tools and/or C++/C
- Experience with Integration Platforms such as Boomi, Mulesoft, Workato, SAP Integration Suite
- Working experience with Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, PaaS platforms
- Overall industry knowledge about Cloud, IoT, Big Data, Digital, networking, and other topical technology domains
