Associate General Counsel, Fleet

Solera is seeking an Associate General Counsel to provide creative, practical, and business-oriented legal counsel across a broad range of commercial, corporate, compliance, and operational matters. The role involves overseeing litigation, commercial contracting, contract operations, dispute resolution, and process improvement initiatives, while managing and developing a small team of legal professionals.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active member in good standing of a state bar (Texas preferred)
• 15+ years of legal experience with substantial background in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
• In-house and supervisory experience required
• Experience advising HR on employment law matters, including responding to EEOC and other agency complaints or investigations
• Familiarity with consumer credit, financial services, and consumer protection laws (GLBA, CCPA, TCPA, FCRA) is a plus
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to distill complex legal issues into practical, business-focused advice for non-legal stakeholders
• Highly responsive, service-oriented approach with the ability to influence and support leaders at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong judgment and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives
