Senior Process Mechanical Engineer II

Solid Power, Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Mechanical Engineer to join our talented team working to revolutionize the battery industry through the development of next-generation, materials for all solid-state rechargeable batteries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
• 12+ years of industry experience in the materials production environment.
• Experience of installation, commissioning, developing SOPs, and refining equipment design of new equipment under a commercial powder production environment is a plus.
• Analytical skills for troubleshooting materials production equipment problems.
• Interpersonal skills in developing positive working relations to interface well with other engineers, scientists, and operations personnel.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Solid Works, electrical diagrams, P&IDs, and general arrangement drawings is a plus.
