Solid Power is seeking a Technology Integration Intern to join their team of engineers and scientists working to develop next generation batteries. The intern will work closely with scientists and engineers to execute planned experimentation and support validation of new additives.
Requirements
- Experience in an academic or industrial lab environment
- Safe handling of hazardous materials and equipment
- Material characterization techniques (rheology, SEM/EDS, DSC/TGA, particle size analysis)
- Galvanostatic cycling and cyclic voltammetry (CV)
- Traditional doctor blade slurry casting of films onto release substrates
- Slurry and film properties with respect to operating conditions
- Scripting languages (Python, MATLAB)
- Coin / pouch cell fabrication for liquid or solid electrolyte-based cells
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
