Open Source Evangelist

Solo is seeking an Open Source Evangelist to represent our open-source projects externally through technical blogs, white papers, webinars, workshops, podcasts, newsletters, and conference talks. The ideal candidate will have experience creating technical content, working with open-source communities, and using social platforms to create engaging technical marketing content.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer
• 6+ years of experience creating technical content
• 5+ years of experience using social platforms to create technical marketing content
• Hands-on experience working with open-source communities
• Experience with a broad range of open-source projects and standards
• Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to rapid change
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience of cloud networking, connectivity, security, MCP, and agentic AI systems
