Data Engineer

SDG is a high-performance software community that builds and delivers custom software for local and national brands. We are looking for Data Engineers to influence the direction of data modernization for our customers.

Requirements

• Design and development of relational and non-relational databases, data warehouses and data lakes
• Development, monitoring, and maintenance of data integration and processing tools and pipelines
• Strong knowledge and experience using SQL, DDL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and SQL query optimization
• Development utilizing languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript or C#
• Experience using messaging middleware such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, MSMQ and IBM MQ
• Data analysis and visualization tools including tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, SSRS, Business Objects
