Logistics Specialist

Logistics Specialist at Solve Industrial Motion Group will support daily logistics operations, including imports and domestic deliveries, and provide expertise for trade compliance import activities.

Requirements

• Maintain working knowledge of all applicable import regulations and HTS codes
• Monitor tariff rates and shipping cost drivers in the ERP system
• Track and trace ocean, rail, trucking, and air shipments daily
• Provide analysis to track import costs, trends, shipping lead times, and other import KPI metrics
• Operates with a continuous improvement mindset and identifies potential gaps with compliance issues
• Works with Freight Forwarders and internal IT teams to develop EDI interfaces
• Assists with ad hoc departmental duties, such as reconciling billing, documentation, and closing out shipments
