We are looking for a Data Engineer for our Data, AI & Analytics COE team. The successful candidate will work closely with analytical teams to develop robust data pipelines and lead the work of the team.
Requirements
- Education in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related areas
- Experience in data engineering or equivalent functions
- Knowledge of data modeling and storage (Data Warehouse, Data Lake,...)
- Experience in SQL, Python, and PySpark (or equivalent data processing technologies)
- Knowledge of good engineering practices: version control (Git), code review, development patterns, and automation
- Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., Azure, GCP, or AWS)
- Familiarity with distributed ecosystems, ideally including Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or Databricks
- Technical leadership capacity, ensuring good practices, knowledge exchange, and team orientation
- Good communication skills and a collaborative spirit in multidisciplinary teams, adapting technical language to different interlocutors
- Autonomy, proactivity, and strong sense of responsibility
- Focus on delivery and results orientation, demonstrating ability to plan, prioritize, and execute initiatives with real impact on the business
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and good practices
