Job Description
Genetics and Associates, a Sonic Healthcare USA company, is seeking a board-certified Director of Molecular Pathology to join their laboratory team in the Nashville, Tennessee area. The ideal candidate will have experience in molecular pathology, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong passion for advancing the field of medicine.
Requirements
- Board-certified Pathologist, physician in a specialty other than pathology, or a doctoral scientist with specialized training and/or relevant experience in molecular pathology.
- Experience in oncology molecular and cellular tumor markers, as well as virology for molecular methods.
- A minimum of 3 years of laboratory training or experience in high-complexity testing.
- Clinical research experience and publication of work are preferred.
- Expert knowledge of clinical testing processes and procedures.
- Laboratory or manufacturing facility experience is a plus.
