Gross Technician

We're looking for a Gross Technician to join our team at Multicare Tacoma General Hospital. As a Gross Technician, you will be responsible for dissecting, analyzing, and generating gross descriptions for low-mid complexity specimens received in the laboratory for microscopic diagnosis. You will work with a team of professionals to advance the health and wellbeing of our communities as a leader in clinical laboratory solutions.

Requirements

• Associate degree in chemical, physical or biological science or medical laboratory technology
• 1 year of experience in grossing, preferred
• Ability to work effectively within a team-orientated department and company
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee, patient, client and/or company records and issues
• Ability to comply with all OSHA laboratory safety standards and regulations
