Job Description
We're looking for a PRN Pathologist Assistant to join our team at Sonic Healthcare USA. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Pathologist Assistant from a NCCLS accredited institution, 1 year of laboratory experience, and certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists BOC. In this role, you will perform gross description and dissection of human tissue surgical specimens, champion safety and quality control, and work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Pathologist Assistant from a NCCLS accredited institution
- 1 year of laboratory experience grossing all tissue types from simple to complex
- Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists BOC
- Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to operate general laboratory equipment
