OSP Construction Manager

The OSP Construction Manager is responsible for mentoring, developing, and overseeing the construction and fiber splicing team, and contract labor for Business and Residential fiber construction. They will coordinate, plan, and execute the fiber construction process, ensuring quality, time, and budget expectations are met.

Requirements

• 5 years Cable Television or Telecommunications technical experience
• 7-10 years of experience in working and/or supervising a cable TV/telecommunications construction department
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects
• Knowledge of National Electrical Codes and G.O.95 and 128
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
• Ability to supervise and motivate others
• Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of local and national safety and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA)
• Proficiency in fiber testing, troubleshooting, and splicing techniques
