Job Description
SonicWall is seeking a Quality Principal Engineer to monitor manufacturing operations, ensuring product quality and reliability. The role involves identifying quality issues, leading continuous improvement initiatives, managing RMA issues, and establishing quality processes like DVT and Lean Six Sigma. This position is for someone to reside in ODM/EMS with a focus on ensuring the highest product quality standards.
Requirements
- Identify manufacturing quality issues: IQC, SMT, DIP, Assembly, OQC, RMA
- Analyze key quality performance indicators, identify areas of improvement
- Manage RMA issues and coordinate with suppliers
- Establish/drive quality initiatives to reduce defect rate and RMA cost
