Industrial Maintenance Reliability Tech

Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician responsible for supporting plant reliability by performing maintenance tasks and activities as an owner of Sonoco's Maintenance Excellence Process.

Requirements

• High school diploma (preferably with a vocational focus)
• Associate’s degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related technical field
• Demonstrated competency in industrial maintenance and reliability
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70E – Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace
• Welding and machining/fabrication skills
• Proficiency with standard computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Proficiency in using a CMMS
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment
