Production Worker

Production Worker role at Sonoco Products Company, working in production for the tube and core division, responsible for working in a quick and safe manner, collaborating with other departments and teams, and maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Must be willing and flexible to work overtime when needed.
• Have a proven record of success in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with various teams and have a good eye to spot defects in the packing line.
• Good attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success.
• Ability to think on your feet and troubleshoot problems and situations.
• Perform all duties as designated by supervisor/manager.
• Perform all duties in support of Sonoco’s quality and safety policies.
• Have a “get it done” attitude and an urgency to resolve problems/tasks.
• Previous experience with Forklift Certification and safely operating a forklift.
• Reliable, having good initiative, being committed, and being quality focused.
