Job Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a member of the patient care team, supporting patients, nurses, and overall unit functioning. The CNA is responsible for helping create and maintain a safe, healing environment for patients and a healthy working environment for the care team.
Requirements
- Assists patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as feeding, dressing, and mobilizing.
- Takes patient vital signs and reports to the RN any findings that are not 'within normal limits'.
- Supports a safe and healing environment for each patient by keeping rooms neat and tidy, and free from clutter.
