Corporate Counsel, IP Enforcement

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a motivated Corporate Counsel, IP Enforcement attorney to join the IP practice within PlayStation Studios. The role involves safeguarding authentic PlayStation products, managing enforcement efforts in the Americas, and collaborating with global colleagues. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office work and the option for remote work.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as either in-house counsel and/or outside counsel dealing with contentious soft IP matters (trademark, design, and copyright), with a minimum of 3 years of experience at a law firm.
• Extensive knowledge of copyright law is particularly desirable, with experience in areas such as advising on copyright-related AI issues, game cloning, circumvention of technical protection measures.
• Familiarity with IP enforcement in China is helpful, but not a prerequisite.
• Current member admitted to and in good standing with California state bar.
