Job Description
Join the PlayStation team as a Software Engineer and work on building highly scalable java based services. Develop distributed services, collaborate with product managers, architects, engineers, and operations team members to build highly robust solutions. Empower the PlayStation ecosystem with simplicity, security, and reliability.
Requirements
- BS degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of strong hands-on Java development experience
- Experience developing services built for deployment into AWS EC2 or EKS using Docker
- Experience with servlet containers, JAXRS, Spring, and related technologies
- Experience with agile development methodologies and familiarity with continuous integration and deployment processes
- Experience with tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Jenkins, JIRA, Git etc.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with geographically remote and culturally diverse teams
