Software Engineer - Frontend/Full Stack

Software Engineer - Frontend/Full Stack role at Sony Interactive Entertainment in Ireland, Dublin. Develop distributed services, collaborate with teams to build robust solutions. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.

Requirements

• BS degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3+ years of strong hands-on Java development experience
• Experience developing front end applications using React Native, React Native for Web, React Web
• Experience with GraphQL, Apollo Client, and GraphQL-compliant server stacks
• Experience developing services built for deployment into AWS EC2 or EKS using Docker
• Experience developing applications on Unix/Linux platforms
• Experience with servlet containers, JAXRS, Spring, Spring Boot, and related technologies
• Experience developing REST based web services using JSON and XML
• Experience with agile development methodologies and continuous integration and deployment processes
• Experience with tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Jenkins, JIRA, Git, and others
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results and a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with geographically remote and culturally diverse teams
• Passion for quality with the ability to inspire and motivate others
