PlayStation is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead the Client Experiences team and drive the technical strategy, people leadership, and execution of connected gaming experiences.
Requirements
- Lead and grow a dedicated client engineering team
- Evangelize the multi-platform strategy across PlayStation
- Multi-surface architecture: strike the right balance between native excellence and shared code
- Build and lead high-impact teams (hiring, coaching, performance, career paths)
- Mentor and coach engineers to grow their careers
- Collaborate with global teams to drive consistent adoption and integration of platform services
- Drive continuous improvement in developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, service performance, and observability
- Experience with React Native and Native mobile technologies iOS/iPadOS, with broader familiarity with desktop architecture
- Track record shipping large-scale native apps and/or complex web apps with strict performance, reliability, and privacy requirements
- Prior experience in releasing globally distributed applications impacting millions of users
- Strong technical background in software development with proven success building and shipping mobile and desktop applications
