AI Engineer

Sopra Steria is seeking an AI Engineer to join their OptimAI team, focusing on applied, impactful AI. The role involves developing and implementing AI/ML models in production environments, working on real-world projects across sectors, and collaborating with expert colleagues. The ideal candidate has a master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in AI/ML development.

Requirements

• Master's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related field
• Min. 2 years of hands-on experience developing and implementing AI/ML models in production environments
• Strong Python programming skills, including experience with API-building frameworks and prototyping tools
• Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar
• Solid understanding of machine learning, including model evaluation techniques and familiarity with advanced applications
• Experience in working with cloud-based environments and ML pipelines
• Strong communication and business analysis skills, and genuine interest in understanding the customer's business context and challenges
