Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst at Sopra Steria, you play a key role in converting data into concrete, actionable insights for our clients. You design, implement and optimize scalable, cloud-based data solutions that have a direct impact on business results.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Technical Data Analyst, or in a similar role, with a focus on enterprise data solutions.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and relational databases, supplemented by experience with data warehouses and data modeling concepts such as Kimball, Snowflake, SCD or Data Vault.
• Experience with applying and implementing AI in your own workflow and that of clients is a plus.
• Programming experience in Python, PySpark, or similar languages for data processing, analytics, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services such as Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, and Azure DevOps, or with comparable cloud platforms.
• Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex data challenges into concrete, actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, a strong team spirit, and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
• Fluent English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is required.
