Data Architect

Sopra Steria is seeking a Data Architect to join their team in Katowice, Poland. The successful candidate will design data architecture, translate strategic vision into technology decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and requirements.

Requirements

• At least 8-12 years of experience in relevant field.
• Solution Architect experience with strong knowledge of Data technologies (open source building blocks, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.).
• Proven experience in data projects.
• Strong knowledge of architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices
• Strong leadership and communication abilities, with the capacity to explain architectural concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Good knowledge of performance optimisation and security management techniques.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good command of agility principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• EU citizenship.
• Fluent English: B2/C1.
• Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice.
