They are looking for a Flight Dynamics Engineer to support their team at the European Space Operations Center in Darmstadt, Germany. The position involves orbit and position determination, optimization of maneuvers, and calibration of spacecraft sensors.
Requirements
- University degree in aerospace engineering or relevant engineering field
- Very good knowledge of classical mechanics, orbital mechanics, and satellite attitude control
- Knowledge of linear algebra, differential and integral calculus, and numerical methods
- Experience in flight dynamics, satellite operation, or space situational analysis
- Willingness to take on operational responsibility in multidisciplinary teams
- Good communication skills, prioritization, adherence to deadlines, and stress resistance
