Job Description
Sorenson Communications is seeking Part Time Sign Language Interpreters to provide Sign-to-Voice and Voice-to-Sign interpreting services for their Video Relay Service (VRS). The ideal candidate will have knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL), interpreter certification, and 3 years of experience working as an interpreter. The position offers flexible scheduling, premium shifts, and a range of benefits.
Requirements
- Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL)
- Interpreter certification
- 3 years of experience working as an interpreter (preferred)
- Ability to pass required skills assessment
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate's or bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Regular and predictable attendance
