Research Analyst - Private Credit

Soros Fund Management LLC (SFM) is seeking a Research Analyst to join their Private Credit Group. The team focuses on corporate and asset-backed opportunities, aiming to identify the best risk/reward. The role involves evaluating and underwriting transactions, conducting due diligence, performing research, preparing deal memos, and managing existing portfolio investments. SFM is a global asset manager with a focus on agility, innovation, and a long-term view.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with credit transactions
• Strong finance and accounting fundamentals
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel
• Interest in financial markets
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and quantitative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to independently conduct comprehensive research, identify and assess key issues and summarize results
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and expeditiously
• Able to take direction and show initiative as appropriate
