Job Description
The Sr. Project Manager/Leader is responsible for managing large Ontario government IT projects, including administrative functions, financial analysis, and project management. The role requires knowledge of project management methodologies, Treasury Board submissions, and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) regulations.
Requirements
- Creating, augmenting and negotiating Licencing agreements and IT Software Statements of Work
- Authoring and facilitating approvals of Treasury Board Submissions
- Managing large Ontario government IT projects and administrative functions
- Financial analysis, forecasting and tracking multi-year engagements
- Project Managements Institutes Project Management Body of Knowledge
- Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices
- Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
- I&IT industry and trends to make recommendations on acquisition or other decisions relating to software, hardware, and technology resources
- Project monitoring, anticipating and troubleshooting issues, providing ongoing expertise, resolving problems and providing project effectiveness
- Identifying conflict between project and functional areas and developing responses to successfully address conflict
