Dietary Aide

This position involves assisting in meal preparation and service for residents, ensuring proper portioning, hygiene, and adherence to established cleaning procedures. The role requires interaction with residents and adherence to company policies. It’s a general on-site position focused on customer and staff interaction within the dining services department.

Requirements

• Check and record steam table and perishable tray line temperatures.
• Place appropriate serving utensils on tray line per menu.
• Properly identifies and prepares each tray according to resident's diet.
• Follow proper procedures for storing food by labels, dates, ensure it’s off the floor and at proper temperatures.
• Wash hands as it’s appropriate.
• Assist in maintenance of dietary equipment in a safe, sanitary, and functional manner.
• Prepare food substitutes consistent with the menu.
