Job Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic, direct care to residents in a safe and efficient manner, following established guidelines and procedures. The role involves ADL assistance, resident monitoring, and ensuring compliance with regulations. CNI’s work is aligned with SCBMA’s Mission and Values.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or GED) preferred
- Current SC Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- 1+ years’ experience in healthcare, long term care, or with the frail or elderly preferred
- Understanding of physical and psychological effects of the aging process
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
- Good organization and communication skills
- Computer skills
- Time-oriented, dependable
