Job Description
The Operations Coordinator will coordinate workflow, review assignments, and ensure efficiency in the Sterile Processing Department. Responsibilities include QA reporting, orientation of new techs, education and training, and assistance with technical and operational problems. The coordinator will also evaluate solutions, assist with planning and presenting at staff meetings, and provide effective direction and leadership to staff.
Requirements
- Participate in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement program
- Identify problems and effectively communicate to Manager
- Participate in ordering and inventory maintenance of Central Services supplies and equipment
- Embrace technological solutions to work processes and practices
- Foster a 'Culture of Safety' through personal ownership and commitment to a safe environment
