The PT Clinic Front Office Representative provides excellent customer service and supports efficient front office operations, assisting with patient check-in, scheduling, insurance verification, and payment collection.
Requirements
- Greet and check in patients promptly and professionally
- Collect and verify patient demographic, insurance, and consent information
- Schedule appointments and follow-up visits
- Verify insurance eligibility, referrals, and authorizations
- Collect copays, coinsurance, and outstanding balances
- Answer basic billing and insurance questions and escalate complex issues as needed
- Scan and update patient documents accurately
- Communicate schedule delays to patients in the lobby
- Maintain and balance a secure cash drawer daily
- Follow front office procedures and HIPAA guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and confidential workspace
