Job Description
The Assistant Branch Retail Manager assists the Branch Retail Manager with outside sales initiatives, customer relationships, and branch operational issues. They also act as a financial liaison to customers and ensure the confidentiality of customer non-public personal information.
Requirements
- Assists Branch Retail Manager with outside sales initiatives
- Develops new customer relationships and retains and expands existing relationships
- Resolves difficult customer situations effectively
- Maintains proficiency in bank products and services
- Maintains thorough knowledge of bank regulatory requirements
- Trains and mentors all branch retail staff
- Assists with training on new branch initiatives and marketing
- Supervises and observes employees in action
- Acts in the capacity of the Branch Retail Manager in their absence
- Consistently looks for opportunities to improve branch profitability and deposit growth
