Job Description
The Deposit Services Specialist is responsible for building customer relationships, providing customer service, and promoting bank products and services. This role involves interacting with customers, resolving issues, and identifying financial needs. The specialist must maintain a thorough knowledge of bank products and services and be proficient in using various technologies to service customers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of experience in a bank or other financial institution
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively use various types of evolving technologies
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance and behavior
- Ability to explain and/or cross-sell bank products and services
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team with excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of various personal computer programs and various electronic delivery channels
- Ability to resolve all customary and usual service inquiries independently and effectively
