Claims & Litigation Specialist (In Ofc 4 Days/Wk)

This position will protect the assets of Georgia Power Company and its affiliates by mitigating the financial impact resulting from claims made against the Company. The position will also provide risk guidance to all organizations within Georgia Power Company and its affiliates.

Requirements

• Manage comprehensive investigations of all serious incidents involving Georgia Power Company and its affiliates
• Manage resolution of all claims and lawsuits brought against the Company
• Act as company representative in legal proceedings
• Comply with reporting requirements of state and federal agencies
• Provide guidance to personnel responsible for cost recovery initiatives
• Provide advice and counsel to other business units regarding liability avoidance and loss control issues
