Job Description
United Container has immediate openings for reliable, hard-working candidates to operate a forklift truck and perform various warehouse functions. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated punctual and dependable attendance at their previous employer and possess a high school diploma or GED, as well as 1-2 years of related experience working in a similar industry.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized/eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to read, write, count, and perform basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Requires initiative and ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Ability to talk, listen, understand and follow directions
- Ability to set priorities and flexibly to reset priorities in a changing environment
- Ability to pay attention to details
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good organization skills
- Mechanical aptitude skills are required
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work overtime as needed by the business
