Job Description
Southshore Companies is looking for a Site Manager to lead a team of lift truck operators, auditors, customer services representatives, supervisors, and the Assistant Site Manager. The Site Manager will ensure the safe, efficient, and effective function of the Regional Distribution Center in York, NE, meeting customer requirements and maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.
Requirements
- Manage day-to-day operations of the RDC
- Lead, motivate, and direct the warehouse staff
- Provide coaching and leadership to site supervisory and non-supervisory personnel
- Recruit, train, hire, and assign work to RDC staff
- Oversee inventory and audit control using warehouse management system (SAP)
- Manage the maintenance and upkeep of a ~300,000 sq. ft. warehouse
- Maintain records and prepare reports according to processes and procedures
- Drive continuous improvement through lean thinking and a 5S mentality
